The Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablets are unveiled by Samsung.
As part of its mid-range tablet lineup, Samsung has formally announced the release of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE Plus. Compared to the previous generation, both devices are $50 more expensive.
The FE Plus offers a new screen size that falls between the S10 Plus and S10 Ultra, allowing all Tab S10s to be available in a variety of sizes. The Tab S10 FE is the smallest tablet in the Samsung Tab S10 series.
The S10 FE has a 10.9-inch screen, which has been the typical size for Samsung tablets for a long time. The new 13.1-inch display on the Tab S10 FE Plus is bigger than the 12.4-inch display on the S10 Plus but smaller than the 14.6-inch display on the S10 Ultra.
Both screens support a refresh rate of 90 Hz and are still LCD rather than OLED. The primary rear camera on both devices has been replaced with a new 13MP sensor, but the ultrawide camera is gone. Android 15 with Samsung's AI suite will be installed on both devices.
With up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, both devices are powered by Samsung's Exynos 1580 processor, which is an improvement over the Exynos 1380 found in earlier Tab S9 FE models.
Both devices still have the IP68 water and dust resistance rating and are compatible with the included S Pen, though it is a basic model without Bluetooth.
Pre-orders are now being accepted in a number of countries for the gray, silver, and blue Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE Plus, which will go on sale on April 10.
Both the regular and Plus versions are $50 more expensive than the previous generation, with the regular version starting at $500 and the Plus version at $650. For an extra $100, Samsung will also sell a 5G variant of the smaller Tab S10 FE, but it will only come in space gray.
