PowerToys 0.90 now with the Command Palette (CmdPal) and more
Microsoft released a new update for PowerToys this morning. The highlight of this version is CmdPal (Windows Command Palette) for PowerToys Run. This feature can be launched using the keyboard shortcut Win+Alt+Space. We previously reported on this .
The color picker has also been changed from WPF UI to .NET WPF. This should improve the theme and visual consistency across different modes. Peek users can now delete data directly there.
And support for variables in template file names has been added to enable dynamic elements like date components and environment variables for better customization in New+. Otherwise, many fixes have been made to the individual PowerToys modules. You can read about them in the release notes.
