NV Updater - Update Nvidia graphics drivers and remove components [Ending after 14 years]
(Update 31.03.2025): Bad news for NV Updater users. Sascha has lost the code for the NV Updater. This means that Sys-worX.net is now retiring after 14 years. However, the latest version, 0.6.8.3, is still available for use. (Thanks to Rush for the tip.)
A lot has happened since the initial release. Among other things, bugs have been fixed. He has now made version 0.3.0.0 available for download. Edit: He also fixed a bug in 0.3.0.1.
You can configure whether the system should automatically search for new drivers, whether to install the standard or DCH driver, and which components should be installed. The update can be performed as a "silent" or a clean install, depending on your preference.
The components in the options allow you to remove telemetry, the shield controller driver, Optimus support, ShadowPlay, the NVContainer, NvvHCI, or PhysX.
If a new graphics driver from Nvidia is available, you'll be notified and have the option to install it or ignore it. This means that NV Updater works differently than, for example, NVSlimmer, where you first have to download the driver manually and then edit it.
Sascha will surely continue to improve his little tool over time, so keep an eye on it.

[Update 12.03.]: Sascha has updated the NV Updater to version 0.4.0.0. Additional features have been added based on requests, which can now be removed before installing the Nvidia graphics driver. The new components that can be removed are:
