Google has developed an Android version of Chrome that allows you to install extensions. Here's the download link

One of Google's plans is to create an extension-compatible version of Chrome for Android. This possibility seemed unattainable up until now, and Mozilla was the only company that allowed extensions to be installed on its mobile version. The Android version of Google Chrome now allows the use of extensions.

We can test this version of Google Chrome and see how it functions. Google has kept this feature a secret, though, and it appears that there are no plans to incorporate the extensions into the official Google Chrome mobile version.

Google has been developing this version of Chrome since last year, according to Android Authority. Offering Android PC users the option to use a browser with extensions became necessary as a result of the shift away from Chrome OS and toward Android.

As of right now, Google has no plans to release a version of Chrome that allows users to install extensions. Even though this version of Google Chrome for Android is not available in the Google Play Store, nothing stops users from installing it because it supports extensions.

How can I install Google Chrome with extensions on my Android device?

The first thing to remember is that the app is on Google's download server, so you'll need to download and install it manually. It's recommended to download the latest version, which appears at the bottom of the entire list.

You'll need to enable installation from unknown sources on your Android device for the app to integrate with the system. Once the file is installed, it's time to install extensions. The experience isn't as simple as it is in Google Chrome for Windows or macOS computers.

Android Authority has discovered that to install extensions in this version of Google Chrome for Android, you need to download the .crx files for the extensions and then upload them to the Google Chrome extensions section by copying this to the navigation bar: "chrome://extensions," and then the process is complete.

What's the experience like using extensions in Google Chrome for Android? Offering extensions doesn't improve the browser experience; in fact, as you can see in the video, many of them don't work. Furthermore, the installation process is quite tedious and not suitable for all users.
