Give the computer keyboard the same long-press function as the phone

Every day, when using a phone keyboard, we enter symbols and numbers using the "long press" feature. This increases the keyboard's efficiency and professionalism by giving a single button two purposes. Nevertheless, computer keyboards do not have this feature; instead, a different button must be pressed in conjunction with it to achieve a comparable function. Thus, we will discover how to incorporate this functionality into a computer keyboard in this post.

Key Manager is a brand-new Windows application with an intuitive user interface. It allows you to fully control the keyboard and personalize it to your liking. Any button's function can be readily changed, and the entire keyboard can be reprogrammed. Please click the link below the post to download the program. The main interface will show up once it has been installed and run. The next window will appear when you double-click (double-click to add).

Choose the key or key combination option from the Add a New Action window on the left. Enter the button that you wish to add the "long press" functionality to at the top. Next, ensure that the long press option has a checkmark in front of it. To specify the function you want to be performed after a long press, you can first set the length of the long press and then open the list of keys or mouse buttons.

You can choose a program on your device to run by long pressing a particular button by first selecting the button from the top, then activating the Long press option, and finally pressing the File button to select the executable file for the program you wish to run. This can be done from the Launch a program or file section of the left menu.

When it comes to personalizing the keyboard, there are a lot of options that may come to mind. You are free to use them however you see fit and to investigate them on your own.
