A crucial new feature has been added to Android phones by Google. Here's how to turn it on

The Gboard keyboard, which comes pre-installed with Android, is used by the majority of users. This tool makes digital typing easier and more convenient by providing a range of editing and customization options. The ability to reverse deleted text is a new feature that Google recently added and that many users have been asking for for a while.

There is always an undo button on keyboards so that we can remove text if we make a mistake. Some of them do not, however, have a key that reverses what we deleted. Control+Z can be used to restore deleted data on computers, but it is more difficult to do so on smartphones because two keys cannot be pressed simultaneously. We can access the solution Google introduced in Gboard through the keyboard settings.

Erased text can be recovered if you have the Gboard keyboard app installed on your Android phone. To access the Undo button, just tap the Gboard settings icon and then scroll down. We have included pictures below that walk you through each step of the process:

Simply move the undo button from the Gboard settings to the keyboard's top bar to make redoing or undoing an action easier. Right where the GIF, sticker, or clipboard icon appears, you'll see the undo arrow. This way, every time you delete text you just typed, you'll see the undo arrow, which will instantly restore everything you deleted. This shortcut is ideal for indecisive users who tend to type, change their mind, delete text, and then want to retrieve it.
