The largest technology To create his ideal smartphone, a YouTuber collaborates with Nothing

If you follow the world of tech reviews on YouTube regularly, you may be familiar with the name Marques Brownlee, better known by his channel MKBHD. He is one of the biggest tech influencers on the platform, with nearly 20 million subscribers, and has been praised by tech figures like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.
The fact is that Nothing recently uploaded a video to their YouTube channel where they created Brownlee's dream phone, going into great detail about its specs and everything they've packed inside to make it one of the most powerful phones we've seen so far.
Let's start with the phone's technical specifications. To start, we have a 6.7-inch LPTO AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. The photography department relies on a triple camera system with 50MP sensors and a variable aperture.
In terms of customization, the phone features three programmable buttons on the body, RGB backlighting with 16 million possible color combinations, and a semi-transparent design with visible components. The operating system, as it couldn’t be otherwise, is Android 15 with Nothing OS running on top of it.
Now it’s time to reveal the big flaw: the prototype shown in the video will never be a reality. Now, CEO Carl Pei has made a number of comments explaining that a device like this would be very difficult to put into production for a number of reasons.
On the other hand, the liquid cooling system would make the unit an anti-ergonomic phone. On the other hand, the price of the phone, taking into account the investment in research and development and its subsequent manufacturing, would rise to $3,000. If we consider that Nothing is dedicated to making, among other things, premium mid-range phones, it is difficult to imagine its entry into the premium phone market.
This isn’t the first time Marques Brownlee has been involved in a project of this kind. In September, the YouTuber launched a customization app for iOS, although the success wasn’t as good as expected.
