No matter what, Microsoft wants you to use Copilot. It will launch automatically when you start Windows 11

Whether you like it or not, Copilot is already included in practically every aspect of Windows 11 and will undoubtedly remain so in upcoming iterations of the operating system.

Although Microsoft has not promoted the AI-powered assistant in such a clear manner yet, it is highly likely that every Windows user has at some point tried it out.

Although there are numerous ways to run Copilot on Windows, we have had some control over access up until this point.

But as we saw in the Windows 11 preview build, things may change, as Copilot will launch automatically once you enter Windows 11.

This is not a new feature, as the company tested it last year, but it did not bear fruit and did not go beyond the initial stage. Microsoft is back at this again and is testing Copilot to automatically start when you log in to Windows 11.

It seems that the user can enable or disable the Copilot auto-start feature when Windows 11 starts using a few methods. One is through a message when opening Copilot; the other is through the app settings or through the system settings in Windows 11.

For people who use their computers for productivity purposes, it may be convenient to launch Copilot as soon as they log in to the computer, but for others it may not be necessary.

We don't know if this feature will definitely make it to a stable version of Windows 11 soon, but if it does, as we told you, you can disable it if you don't need it.
