Google introduces the Whisk tool, which uses artificial intelligence to create images in a way you have never seen before

AI-based generative tools have been on the rise ever since ChatGPT and DALL-E entered our lives in 2022. In just two years, things have changed a lot, and with the way things are going, it seems like we haven’t seen anything yet.

As part of Google’s experimental tools, there’s one tool that particularly caught our attention: Whisk. This new tool from the company allows us to blend multiple images together to give us a result that captures the essence of the images we’ve submitted. Now, the tool has reached 100 new countries.

There are many tools for generating images using prompts. DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and Midjourney paved the way, and since then we have discovered countless websites and platforms that integrate these types of tools into their services. Today, everyone with a mobile phone or computer also has a similar tool built in, thanks to services like Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot, and others.

However, this time, Google decided to move away from prompts to provide an easier-to-use tool. You don’t need to type anything to get an image; just choose a few images to merge together and you’ll get a result that captures the essence of all those images.

Whisk uses two AI engines. First, Gemini translates images uploaded by users into highly detailed descriptions. Second, Imagen 3 transforms them into new creations by combining subject, background, and style.

To do this, all we have to do is drag the images into the Whisk tool to define the subject, scene, and style. The place where you insert the image is important because it will be the key to getting a result that matches what we are looking for.

After that, the AI will blend it, and if we don't like it, we can always improve the result with text instructions. Additionally, we can use some images as a reference.

Whisk is not intended to be a professional photography tool, but rather a way for users to experiment with AI and generate images in a much simpler way and without entering text.
