Google gives a gift to everyone. Here's how to use Gemini 2.0, which is free and available as of right now

In December, we saw Google successfully leverage AI to launch Gemini 2.0. But in an early, immature version. Now, two months later, we see the company launch a more mature version of Gemini 2.0, and it’s available to everyone.
This new model called Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking comes to compete with GPT-01 and also DeepSeek. We will be able to use it freely through the mobile app and also in the web version of Gemini.
Google is currently in a position where it can’t afford to be left behind when it comes to AI. It’s a tough sell, with competition continuing to push for significant improvements, especially China, which is now aiming to become more proficient in this area.
In a blog post, Gemini 2.0 Flash is detailed as being “available to the public via the Gemini API in Google AI Studio and Vertex AI.” The model is primarily aimed at “high-volume tasks that are highly capable of multimodal reasoning.” This is achieved thanks to a new context window that contains a million symbols.
Along these lines, Gemini 2.0 Flash will soon be updated to incorporate image generation or text-to-speech. These are features that we already see as standard in many AI systems on the market, which shows that Google’s goal at the moment is not to stand out but to maintain its position.
On this occasion, Google also announced that it will also make available the beta version of Gemini 2.0 Pro, which aims to compete directly with ChatGPT Pro by being able to interpret complex instructions. The model has been described as “the most efficient model yet” and will only be available to Gemini Advanced users.
