Adobe Makes Firefly, a Free AI-Powered Video Generator, Available to All

Today, Adobe made its AI video generator Firefly more widely available, enabling anyone to make 5-second, 1080p HD clips for free. Users can use a text description to create their video or upload an image as a starting point. Additionally, the text-to-image feature can be used to generate an AI image that is then used as the basis for an AI video.
Adobe offers tools that let people express their ideas and tell their stories as part of its mission to empower creativity. Firefly bills itself as the only generative AI model that is intellectual property-free and safe for commercial use. This expansion of creative control in the Firefly web app enables people of any skill level to explore, visualize, and realize their creative vision.
The Firefly video template enables multimedia creation, integrating video, image, and vector creation into one application. Not only does this simplify your creative flow, but it also allows you to translate audio into multiple languages and write a text prompt to create a clip in the desired style and camera angle, all within Firefly.
For those who want to create longer clips or work at higher resolutions, Adobe has introduced new paid plans: Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro, which offer premium video and audio features. All Firefly plans include unlimited access to image and vector capabilities, as well as tiered capacity for premium video and audio features, allowing users to choose the capacity they need to bring their creative projects to life.
Additionally, Firefly Premium is expected to launch soon, offering even more audio and video capabilities. You can see examples of videos created with Firefly on the Adobe blog, which showcase the powerful capabilities of this tool.
Unfortunately, you can only create two free videos with Adobe Firefly. In our tests, we were only able to create two videos before we received a message asking us to upgrade to the paid version.
