Why is the Vivo X200 Pro the talk of the town? Is it really that good?
The Vivo X200 Pro is a great success from the Chinese brand, and many users and experts point to it as the mobile phone to beat in 2025, especially in terms of the camera. The truth is that despite its weaknesses, like all other phones, it is a smartphone that, if you intend to buy it, you can be sure that it will not disappoint you at all.
Despite being an exceptional smartphone, we'll focus on three great features that we value above all else and have everyone talking about it.
Its superior cameras
The ZEISS-powered rear camera system is exceptional and versatile, led by a 200MP telephoto camera. It sets the benchmark for smartphone photography, delivering excellent clarity and detail, whether capturing distant subjects or capturing portraits, with a lens array that ensures professional performance in almost any lighting condition.
Its brilliant screen
Besides the camera, the Vivo X200 Pro also excels in other key areas, such as its display, which delivers realistic colors, deep contrast, and super-smooth refresh rates, making everything from watching series or movies, browsing, or playing games a joy.
It is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels made using an LTPO 8T panel with an adaptive dynamic refresh rate ranging from 0.1Hz to 120Hz and supports up to 4500 nits of peak brightness.
Very large battery
Battery life is another strong point, although the slow charging speed is a bit disappointing. On paper, the brand’s great work is that the Vivo X200 Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery, which is 600mAh larger than the one used in the previous X100 Pro, but the best thing is that this has been achieved without increasing its thickness, using third-generation silicon anode and semi-solid state technology, allowing for a larger battery capacity without sacrificing design.
We're talking about a cell that gives you two days of autonomy as long as you don't spend the whole day playing games or taking pictures with its camera.
Not everything can be perfect.
The truth is that it is a mobile phone that we 100% recommend, but you should keep in mind that the Funtouch 15 customization layer of the Vivo X200 Pro is not as user-friendly as One UI or HyperOS, as some missing features are present in these customization layers.
Furthermore, despite the larger battery, it is true that the wired and wireless charging speeds are slower compared to its predecessor, as we said earlier, in order to preserve its lifespan as much as possible.
The phone doesn't come with a charger in the box because governments have restricted this addition, so we can't blame the brand for this decision.
