Vivo introduces the Vivo Y200 phone, which costs $150 and has incredible features
Vivo, an Asian manufacturer, keeps adding new products to its lineup. A new entry-level phone that was recently unveiled in China is now in the spotlight.
We are referring to the Vivo Y200+, a device that offers very balanced features at a very attractive price. As we told you, it is currently only available in China. But let's hope that it ends up in the rest of the world, as its price does not exceed $ 160 in return.
Let's start by talking about the design of this new budget phone from Vivo. The device measures 165.7mm x 76mm and is only 7.99mm thick. The Vivo Y200+ is available in black, light green, or pink and, surprisingly for such an inexpensive device, is IP64 certified, so it is protected from dust and water splashes.
The Vivo Y200+ has a 6.68-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1608 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The HD+ resolution is reasonable for an entry-level phone, but the refresh rate is impressive. Be warned, it hits 1,000 nits, which isn’t bad for a $150 phone.
Moving on to the rest of the specs, the Vivo Y200+ packs a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, along with 8 or 12GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB of internal storage depending on the model. More than enough features to provide perfect performance for everyday use. You won’t be able to run the latest games in ideal conditions, but the vivo Y200+’s power isn’t bad at all for its price.
Moving on to the photography department, the camera system consists of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, which is perfect for bokeh shots. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera, so you won’t be disappointed with its price.
For now, the phone has arrived in China, but considering the price of the Vivo Y200+, it may see real sales when it reaches the rest of the world.
