Use the command "run ncpa.cpl" to determine the password for the Wi-Fi network on your laptop

1. Open the Run window:

Press the "Windows" key + "R" to open the "Run" window.

2. Type the command "ncpa.cpl":

In the “Run” window, type ncpa.cpl and press “Enter.” This will open the “Network Connections” window, which contains all the networks connected to the machine.

3. Select the connected network:

In the Network Connections window, select the wireless network your device is connected to. You'll see the connected network icon, which usually says "Wi-Fi" or the network name next to it.

4. Open Network Properties:

Right-click on the connected network icon, then select "Status.".

5. Show password:

In the Wi-Fi Status window, tap the Wireless Properties button at the bottom.

Go to the "security" tab.

Here you will see the option “Show characters." Tap on it to display the Wi-Fi password.

You must have administrator privileges on the computer to access these settings.

If the password is encrypted or otherwise password protected, you must have administrator privileges on the device to view it.

There is an easier way using "Command Prompt.". 

To view the password of the connected Wi-Fi:

1. Open a Command Prompt window as administrator:

Press the "Windows" key and search for "Command Prompt.".

Right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator.".

2. Use the command to display the password:

In the Command Prompt window, type the following command:

netsh wlan show profile name="network name" key=clear

Replace "Network Name" with the name of the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to.

3. Find the password:

In the results that appear, look for the line that begins with "Key Content."

The password will be next to this phrase.
