What you will do is press one of the buttons at the top left; that is, you can press SHREDD FILES to select a file or SHREDD FOLDERS to select an entire folder, and in addition to that, you can simply drag and drop, and what you will do specifically is add the files and folders that you want to delete permanently.
As soon as you do this, a window will show up asking you how many times you want to write to the location where these files are saved. If you choose to do this, the file will be erased and replaced with other pointless files until the system is compelled to delete it entirely. It is recommended to choose the number 10 to increase the strength of the process and prevent the files from being recovered permanently. Finally, click on Shred.
