The ability to reverse changes with a single shortcut is a feature of many computer text editors. The most widely used is Ctrl+Z, which is absent from phones' and tablets' standard keyboards. That’s why Google got to work and now has an undo button in its Gboard keyboard app, among its tricks.

It may be a very small detail, and it may arrive late, but it is very useful in the end. Using the undo button, you can delete the last changes you made to the text, whether removing words and phrases or recovering paragraphs that were accidentally deleted. Here is how you can activate this new feature.
Initially, this function may be activated automatically on your keyboard; otherwise, you will need to go to the settings to be able to include it among your options. It is very easy to enable, and when it appears among your options, it allows you to do two things: either undo the last change you made or restore it.
To get the undo option on Google Keyboard, you need to do the following:
Open Google Keyboard.
Select the box at the top left of the keyboard.
Press and drag the undo button to the top bar among the other options.
With this, Google will allow you to undo the last thing you typed, following the format used. That is, if you type one letter after another on the keyboard, it will undo the last letter typed. If you select the word from among those suggested by the keyboard itself, it will undo it completely.
It may seem like a very small option, but it is really useful, especially for those who type commandments on the keyboard for work reasons or for simple preference, as it will help them delete or restore the parts they need.
