A new version of the Paint program is released. With Windows 11, artificial intelligence features are now accessible to all users.

New AI-powered features are now available in Paint in Windows 11. Best of all, you don't need a new PC to enjoy them.

Not only has Paint survived through the various versions of Windows, it has now become an indispensable app, especially with the arrival of some AI-powered functions.

Some of the AI features seen in preview versions of Microsoft Paint are now available to everyone in Windows 11.

We refer to the object and background removal functions that already appear with the relevant buttons in the application interface.

For example, we have generative scanning, where the application tries to remove an object from the image and then fills it in to match the background. Background removal, on the other hand, allows us to isolate an element of the image from the background, for example, to paste it somewhere else.

These AI-powered features are now available to everyone but were previously exclusive to PCs with Snapdragon X processors.

These features will later become available on PCs with Intel Core Ultra 200 processors and AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors as well.

How do you start using these tools?

If you've updated to Windows 11, all you have to do is open Paint and explore the new options in the toolbar. Remember, for best results, it's recommended to work with medium-resolution images and less complex backgrounds.

In our opinion, these features not only modernize Paint but also position it as an editor that everyone can access, regardless of their technical skills. It’s a perfect example of how AI can simplify complex tasks and make them more inclusive.
