Learn how to stop automatic sounds for any website you visit
If you can't stand hearing the annoying sound of loud ads every time you open a new page on your browser, especially those ads that appear in pop-up pages, here is the solution through this post, in which I will introduce you to some ways to stop the sounds in your Google Chrome or Firefox browser.
If you are using Google Chrome, you can use the MuteTab extension, which will allow you to control the sound in all your browser tabs. You can also customize default settings for each site separately, in addition to the ability to control the sound in each video individually in case the site contains multiple videos.

You can also stop autoplaying videos on Firefox without add-ons. All you have to do is type about:config in the address bar, then a warning message will appear. Skip it by clicking continue, then search for autoplay and double-click on media.autoplay.enabled to change its value from true to false.
