Attention Samsung users: Say goodbye to these important functions with the arrival of One UI 7

Samsung is preparing to continue its evolution in terms of the operating system, having already announced One UI 7 with all the changes it entails for the brand's devices. Many interesting new features come with this update, but we will also say goodbye to some already known features.
In particular, two functions will stop working with One UI 7, but don't worry, because it won't leave a void on your Samsung phone.
- Samsung Edge Panels Disappear From View In One UI 7
One feature that started to take off with the arrival of One UI 7 was the Edge Panels. These applications gave us quick access to some of the applications we used frequently. For many, it was useful, as it saved time.
Well, thanks to the post of @theonecid on X , we know that it will not be possible to download the edge panels if your device is updated to One UI 7; however, you can continue to use those you have installed by default (widget panels, apps and contacts), but once you delete them from your mobile, you will not be able to recover them from the official Samsung store.
- Goodbye Samsung DeX
Just like Edge Panels, the Samsung DeX app, which is responsible for connecting the mobile screen in Windows, will be gone once One UI 7 officially arrives. Well, there will be no compatibility for this version of Samsung's operating system.
This was reported from Samsung's UK website: "DeX for PC support on Windows will no longer be available starting with One UI 7. We recommend that customers connect their mobile phones and PCs via the Windows function link."
Samsung hasn't officially announced the reason behind this, but it's understood that the feature was redundant, with Link to Windows already available to perform exactly the same action. Perhaps that's why Samsung decided to do away with this service.
