Microsoft has started pushing out the Windows 11 24H2 update, which brings Wi-Fi 7 support, along with a variety of AI features.

Windows 11 2024 Update is rolling out to users with security and protection updates, new connectivity options, and enhanced AI capabilities on Copilot+ PCs.

Among the changes introduced in Windows 11 24H2 are improvements to the Quick Settings, which now comes in the form of a menu that supports swipe, as well as customization and arranging of user choices.

The Wi-Fi interface tab comes with a new update button, allowing the user to quickly update the connection to surrounding networks. The update also supports Wi-Fi 7 technology, provided that the devices are compatible, to support fast connection to networks.

This version of Windows 11 update also supports Bluetooth LE hearing devices, and Quick Settings also provides a new power saving feature.

With this update, Microsoft is bringing better support and improvements to AI features for devices that come with the Copilot+ brand, including real-time translation at the system level for all video players. AI features will also transcribe and translate audio in real time into your language with the fastest response.

Microsoft also provides support for the best “Windows Studio” effects that support working with the webcam to blur the user’s background, or apply different patterns.

On the other hand, the “Voice Focus” feature relies on the neural processing unit to remove background noise and cancel sound echoes in the room.

The “eye contact” mode also allows the user to adjust their gaze to interact efficiently with the audience. Microsoft also offers the “Windows Recall” feature with improvements in security standards. The user will also have the option to save the screen or delete it. The feature will be available on Snapdragon X devices starting in October, while it will be available for Intel/AMD devices in November.

Windows Search has also been improved with artificial intelligence that supports remembering file titles and contents, where files can be searched for by entering a description.

The “Super Resolution” feature supports the user to enlarge images up to 8 times, while improving the display quality of old images, while “Windows Paint” provides a new tool for users to automatically create and delete objects in images.
