OpenAI's Advanced Voice Mode Is Now Available in ChatGPT Desktop: Here's How to Activate It
OpenAI made the voice conversation mode official in May this year so that users can enjoy a more natural conversation experience. It is another step in “humanizing” conversations with ChatGPT, in addition, the advanced voice mode is now available in the mobile version for Android and iOS.
Now, in an effort to expand its accessibility, the ChatGPT voice assistant has also become available on the web, and this way, users will be able to talk to the chatbot from the browser.
Kevin Weil , product manager at OpenAI, announces on his social media profile that you can now talk to ChatGPT directly from your browser.
On the other hand, it is important to note that this news comes several weeks after the announcement of OpenAI's acquisition of the "chat.com" domain to redirect the said URL to the web version of ChatGPT, in this way, Sam Altman's company is working to simplify the browsing experience and improve the company's presence on the Internet.

This new feature is currently available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, so these users will be able to activate the advanced voice mode from the microphone icon in the chat window.
Once activated, a blue circle will appear in the center of the screen, meaning that lucky people can now talk to the chatbot through their computer's microphone or headphones connected to the said device.
As for availability for other users, Kevin Weil notes that they will try to offer it to users for free in the coming weeks .
Advanced Voice Mode revolutionizes the way you interact with AI by offering a more personalized and natural experience, considering that one of the most notable features is that users can interrupt responses in real time through voice commands.
