How to watch anyone's video on their computer remotely without them sending it to you
If you have a video on your computer, and you want to watch it with other people, there are safer ways than uploading it to YouTube, since YouTube has a policy that does not allow any kind of video, and uploading private material to the Internet is usually not a good idea.
There are generally two ways to share content: we upload it to an Internet server so that anyone can see it with the corresponding link (as happens with YouTube, Dropbox and similar services), or we transfer it from one computer to another without going through a central server (using P2P). This second method is more private and secure.
The solution presented to us today is fileparty.co, where we can upload a video file of any size and create a link to share it. When someone else accesses the link, they will see the player so we can watch the video with them at the same time.
FileParty allows us to do the same with our mp4 and mp3 files. In fact, it can also be used to view photos together. Or simply to send files, where the other person (the one receiving the link) can download the content we uploaded.
