Since Microsoft launched Windows 10 in 2015, privacy has been one of its most criticized aspects, as we cannot have complete control over our operating system.

Windows users are looking for ways to limit how their data is used to track them, show ads, or build interest profiles. Like almost every product these days, Microsoft’s Windows will track a lot of your activities, not only to improve its products and services, but also to deliver ads and promotions. Fortunately, Windows 10 and 11 allow you to disable system tracking, and include other settings to enhance your privacy.

When installing Windows 10 and 11, the system by default sends a huge amount of information to the company's servers without the user's permission, but it is possible to avoid these risks resulting from this process, by following some steps below.

Services and settings you should disable

First, open the Windows Settings page by pressing the Win + I keys, then from the side menu click on "Confidentiality and Security" or "Privacy and Security" depending on the language, from the options available on the right choose "General"

In the next window, you will find 5 options, all you have to do is disable these options by clicking the button from On to Off, except for the third option, it is preferable to leave it as is, do not disable it

Now, go back to the “privacy and security” page and click on “diagnostics and comments” or “diagnostics and feedback” depending on the language.

In the next window, disable the first option, as shown in the images below.

The explanation is over. Good luck to everyone.
