Google wants to put an end to the tab clutter problem in Chrome. Over the past few weeks, various developments have been seen regarding the operation of Google's browser. Everything seems to indicate that the company wants to restructure the experience offered by its browser. Among all these changes, a new way to close inactive tabs in  Chrome  has been discovered .

This feature was discovered by a user at VX, who specializes in detecting new versions of applications or programs. What I found is that Google is planning to integrate a control center into Chrome that will allow you to close inactive tabs, while letting you know what has been closed.

This novelty is simple to operate, as a new section called “Close unused tabs” will be integrated into the top bar of  Chrome  , which translates to “Close unused tabs”.   Or Close unused tabs, this feature will appear in the top bar of  Chrome   when you have a large number of tabs open and many of them are not used.

When you close tabs manually, the function will disappear and if multiple tabs are reopened, the new items will appear again.

Of course, if this feature is annoying, it can be turned off so that it doesn’t appear again until Chrome is completely closed. Having said that, let’s see how this novelty works, which will allow you to completely delete unused tabs from Chrome.

To use the new feature, you just have to click on it, and a drop-down menu will appear where you can see all the unused tabs that can be closed. These tabs can be closed individually or in general.

Next to each tab you will find an icon with which you can close it, but what is interesting is the button located at the bottom that will allow you to close them all at once. Everything indicates that Google wants to make tab management easier with this novelty, but we will have to wait for its official launch to check how it works and if it is useful in real life.
