Xiaomi officially launches the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro phones Specifications and price
The Xiaomi 15 Pro has been officially announced in China, positioned as a premium smartphone that guarantees excellent power and does not lack advanced camera technology. This device, therefore, aims to be one of the great references in the high-end product range, and it has all the ingredients to achieve this.
The Pro is presented alongside the Xiaomi 15, and includes a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display (the base version remains at 6.36 inches and has a resolution of 1.5K). Its resolution is 3200 x 1440 pixels and it can reach a maximum brightness of up to 3200 nits. Thanks to this, the phone guarantees a high-quality visual experience even under direct sunlight. In addition, the refresh rate is dynamically adjusted between 1Hz and 120Hz, thus improving battery usage during light tasks without sacrificing smoothness in more demanding applications.
In terms of security, the display has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which provides quick and secure access to the device. So, it has everything you would expect from an Android phone that is one of the best phones on the market.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same one found in its Xiaomi 15 variant. This advanced processor includes an AI modem that automatically selects the most suitable antennas based on how the user holds the device. This feature ensures that connectivity performance is always at its best, no matter how the phone is used. In terms of memory, the options are up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
On the back, the Xiaomi 15 Pro features a triple sensor setup. The system includes a 50MP ultra-wide-angle system with a 14mm f/2.2 aperture, which is ideal for capturing wide landscapes and wide angles. The main element is also 50MP (f/1.44) and delivers great images thanks to the Leica Summilux lens technology, which improves clarity and color with every shot. It obviously doesn’t lack optical stabilization.
In addition to the main cameras, the Xiaomi 15 Pro includes a third camera with a telephoto lens that allows for 5x optical zoom. This system uses a 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor, designed to capture details at a distance with extreme accuracy. This setup is especially useful for those who want to take high-quality photos from long distances without losing clarity.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro strikes a balance between performance and portability. At just 213g and 8.35mm thick, it’s a relatively light phone that’s comfortable to hold (the Xiaomi 15 remains 8.08mm thick and drops to 191g). Despite its slim design, the device packs a powerful 6,100mAh battery. The Xiaomi 15 has a 5,400mAh battery in the standard model, with 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, allowing the device to be recharged in no time.
As for connectivity, this is all good news, since the two phones that Xiaomi has currently announced in China have excellent performance capabilities. For example, they offer compatibility with WiFi 7 and, as it could not be otherwise, they integrate 5G. With Bluetooth 5.4, it is also worth noting that the devices include iP68 water resistance and have USB type C 3.2.
