Windows 11 is full of problems If you have this app, avoid updating to Windows 11 version 24H2
Since the Windows 11 build 24H2 became available, countless issues have been reported with the operating system, the most terrifying of which are the related Blue Screens of Death.
Many times we see these blue screens without knowing exactly why, but if you have a certain app installed, you will already know the reason.
Microsoft has just updated a support document to inform you that the Voicemeeter app is not compatible with Windows 11 24H2, and therefore, PCs with this app will not receive the said update.
A large number of people have received the 24H2 build of Windows 11 with Voicemeeter installed, and their computers are getting locked out with the Blue Screen of Death. This is due to compatibility issues between the Voicemeeter driver and the OS memory manager.
It is not recommended that the user manually update to Windows 11 version 24H2, because if he has this application, the relevant blue screen will appear.
You can wait for the Voicemeeter developer to release a new patch to make it compatible with Windows 11 build 24H2, or wait for Microsoft itself to release a patch in this regard.
If you don't want to wait, the obvious option is to uninstall the app directly to remove this ban, although it won't be immediate, and you'll have to wait at least 24 hours.
Also, do not forget to uninstall all components of the Voicemeeter application so that there are no problems in this regard.
This compatibility issue only happens for systems running Windows 11 24H2, so if you have any other previous version then you don't need to worry about continuing to use the above mentioned app.
