WhatsApp announces that the application will not work on these phones on November 1
Due to the constant updates to the WhatsApp application, the list of mobile phones is constantly being excluded from accessing the application. This happens on both iPhone and Android, since both operating systems have different versions and not all phones are updated to the latest version.
However, the first recommendation is to make a backup in case our cell phone is in the following list below, to avoid losing important conversations and information.
On Android devices, WhatsApp requires at least Android 5.0 to work properly, which was released in 2014, so it's likely that phones released before that date won't be able to run the app or will do so poorly, putting users' privacy and security at risk.
Some of the mobile phones that do not have the ability to update or run WhatsApp are the following:
Samsung phones that WhatsApp will not work on
HTC phones that WhatsApp will not work on : One X, One X+, Desire 500, Desire 601
LG phones that WhatsApp will not work on : Optimus G, Nexus 4, G2 Mini, and L90
Sony phones that WhatsApp will not work on : Xperia Z, Xperia SP, Xperia T, and Xperia V.
Motorola phones that WhatsApp will not work on : Moto G (1st generation), Droid Razr HD, and Moto E (1st generation)
Nokia phones that WhatsApp will not work on : Lumia 920 and Lumia 1020
Huawei phones that WhatsApp will not work on : Ascend P6 and Ascend Y300
These devices have not received updates for various reasons such as limited technical specifications or lack of support from manufacturers.
