Samsung has officially announced the launch of the new Galaxy Tab S10 series, which brings major changes compared to previous versions.

One of the major changes that the Korean company introduced to this series is the cancellation of the basic version, as the series now consists of only two versions instead of 3 versions, which are the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, without a third version.

The two new devices feature a similar design, but the Ultra version comes with a larger screen and a stronger battery, with more connectivity options and additional memory.

One of the big changes in the Galaxy Tab S10 series is the use of a completely new processor; the company did not use an Exynos or Snapdragon processor as in previous years, but rather moved to use the Dimensity 9300+ processor from MediaTek.

According to Samsung, this new processor offers an 18% improvement in CPU performance, 28% in GPU performance, and 14% in NPU performance compared to previous versions .

The Galaxy Tab S10 series greatly enhances the capabilities of artificial intelligence, bringing the same smart tools that Samsung introduced in its flagship smartphones launched this year.

The devices will support OS updates for seven years, which means Galaxy Tab S10 owners will enjoy support for a long time.

The new devices look very similar in design to the series launched last year, but they come in two new colors, gray and silver, and they are now thinner and lighter with reinforced aluminum bodies and IP68 water and dust resistance.

Both devices feature a water- and dust-resistant S Pen, quad speakers, in-display fingerprint sensors, dual SIM and virtual SIM support, and 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy Tab S10+ comes with a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a 13MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP front camera, a 10,090mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB and 512GB of storage.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a larger 14.6-inch display, but offers up to 16GB of RAM, a terabyte of storage, and an 11,200mAh battery.

Samsung is launching the Galaxy Tab S10+ starting at $1,000, and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra starting at $1,200.
