Samsung announces Tap Transfer Touch someone else's mobile phone and receive money
Samsung mobile phones received an important update today since Google Wallet was updated to add new quick access to mobile payments. Now the manufacturer Samsung has introduced Tap Transfer as part of Samsung Wallet, its payment system for transferring money by bringing one mobile phone to another.
It's a proposal that goes directly to Apple's face with tap to pay, and uses NFC to allow for quick payments. It's practically like offering mobile payments between people in a very simple way, and it's already a very common thing today.
The idea is that the two mobile phones come together to allow payment, just as you would swipe your smartphone when making a payment at a store terminal, allowing money to be passed around in a simple and convenient way.
The Korean manufacturer has announced that it is introducing a “Tap Transfer” feature in the Samsung Wallet app to allow sending and receiving money by tapping the back of each phone together to seal the transfer.
As mentioned, this feature works with active NFC and can be used when Samsung Wallet is updated, although it remains in South Korea for now and it is not known when it will reach the rest of the world.
