One of Samsung's cheapest phones receives a major security update and the update was first launched in this Arab country
As it prepares to roll out the October Android update to the best phones in its catalog, Samsung continues to roll out the latest Android security patch, the one from last September, to the most modest phones in its portfolio. A good example of this is the fact that the South Korean giant has started rolling out the September Android update to one of its most affordable smartphones, the Galaxy A15 5G.
As confirmed by SamMobile , the Korean brand has started rolling out the September 2024 Android update to the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G in Egypt with firmware version A155FXXS4BXI3.
As usual, we hope that this new Android security update will start arriving to the Galaxy A15 5G in the rest of the world over the next few weeks.
This new software release, as expected, includes the September 2024 security patch, which fixes a total of 67 privacy and security vulnerabilities, fixes a fair number of general bugs in the UI, One UI, and improves the performance and stability of this entry-level smartphone.
It should be remembered that the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G phone hit the markets at the end of 2023 with Android 14 and One UI 6.0 and was updated to One UI 6.1 in the middle of that same year.
Once this update is rolled out to Samsung Galaxy A15 5G worldwide, you can check if it has already reached your device by going to your device's Settings menu and accessing the Software Update section.
Once available, simply head over to this section and click on the “Download and Install” button so that your Samsung Galaxy device is updated with the latest Android security patch to date.
