Moments Netflix's new feature to share clips with your friends so they can watch them
Imagine you’re watching your favorite Netflix series, and you see a phrase you want to share with a friend. Now Netflix is giving you a tool to do exactly that. This new feature is called “Moments” and it’s an option to select Netflix clips and send them to other people from your mobile phone.
At the moment, the feature is still in its early stages, but many people have already fallen in love with this amazing new Netflix feature. So, if you want to learn how to share Netflix clips with Moments, be sure to read the article we have prepared for you on this occasion.
First of all, it should be clarified that this is a function specific to the mobile version of Netflix, so do not expect to be able to do this from a computer or from a TV, at least not yet. It is also important to clarify that at the time of writing this article, this function that allows you to share clips of content available on Netflix can only be used on iOS, but it is expected to be released soon on Android.
Now, as we have mentioned several times, this feature allows you to save a clip of the series or movie you are watching. The clip will be 5 seconds long and you can share it on social networks like Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc., but if someone wants to watch it, they must also have the Netflix app and a valid subscription to the platform.
- How to make a clip on Netflix using "Moments"?
Creating a clip of your favorite scene from a Netflix show or movie is very simple, all you have to do is follow these steps:
- Go to Netflix and play the series or movie you want to watch.
- Go to the scene you want to save in Moments.
- Click on the button that says Moments in the lower left corner.
By doing this, the five seconds prior to pressing the button will be saved, meaning you need to press the button when you're done with the clip you want to save. You can then find the clip in the My Netflix tab. From there, you can share it or rewatch that content from that point on to relive the experience.
