From Reddit support communities to Apple, users are flooding in with comments explaining how frustrated they are. And it’s not just iPhone 16 owners who are suffering: iOS 18 appears to be causing issues on older Apple phones, too.

Here's what someone says: "Yes, I have an iPhone 16 Pro and the battery drops from 100% to about 60% in the middle of the day without heavy use of my phone. It definitely needs to be fixed.

Another explains that, compared to his old iPhone, he now only gets between 50% and 60% of the usage time he had before, so the new iPhone's batteries drain faster than the old model.

The problem is that there is no magic solution. Some say disabling certain functions helps, others say the latest update fixes them... but the truth is, there is no consensus.
