While customization has always been one of the most prominent features of Android compared to iOS for iPhones, widgets didn’t regain their importance until Google implemented Material You as a design language. On iOS, these elements are more important than ever and also have the advantage of being interactive.

Although it has improved our favorite operating system, Google, to my taste, is the only one that has been able to complete the beauty of my home screen. Naturally, it doesn’t offer many options, so I set out to find third-party alternatives.

Whatever mobile phone I carry at all times, I will never forget to install the free Smart Tools package that I love for its simplicity and functionality, but above all for its similarity to Google's own tools.

If you like the Material You style that Google has been implementing for some time on Android, you can't miss this app called "Widgeet", which is free on the Google Play Store.

The application that brings together these smart tools is very deep and complete: from its main screen, it allows you to view all kinds of smart tools classified according to their nature. It offers the "Clock", "Calendar", "Device Information" and "Photos" widgets.

For example, in the smart watch widget: As the name suggests, Widgeet offers several widgets to display the time. There are analogues, digital ones, and countless designs, you just have to swipe through the app to discover them. Best of all, despite their large number, they are all customizable. By tapping on one, I can change the color, the shape of the hands, and even the shape of the widget.

Remember that to put them on your home screen, you can do it from the application itself or from the launcher settings on your mobile. Keep your finger pressed on the home screen, tap on "Widgets" and scroll down until you see those "Widgets", tapping on them will display the available options: in sizes 1x2, 2x1, 2x2, 4x2 and 4x4, they can occupy the space we want.
