I do not recommend charging your phone with these chargers because of their high risks
There is something very important for our safety, but few people take it into account, and that is the charger, an essential accessory to enjoy our phones, since in most cases we have to charge them daily or at most every two days. This element is very important, not only for the correct maintenance of the battery cells, but also a bad charger can be the cause of a fire in homes, as has already happened on some occasions in different countries around the world.
Since no one wants to have a serious problem because of our mobile phone charger, we want to help you and advise you on all the chargers that you should never use, let alone use without the supervision of adults and responsible people, in case something serious happens.
- Do not use damaged chargers.
We might think that a charger with a bump or scratches is in perfect condition, but this is not always the case. Above all, if we do not know the source of this damage, we should stay away from it and not use it, because inside the resistors and electrical components can become an isolated system ready to cause problems. We should also not trust chargers that may have come into contact with water, because the problems here could be worse.
On the other hand, if the damage is minimal and we also caused it due to daily use, nothing should happen, but consider changing it for a new charger, because over the years chargers also lose their qualities, and even more so if we use them daily with different devices.
- Old and outdated chargers
One of the main factors that make us not recommend old chargers is overheating, over the years these systems have improved significantly and today they have nothing to do with what was happening inside the chargers compared to 5 years ago. Overheating can also affect phones, damaging the battery without us even realizing it.
The lack of safety in some old chargers also works against us, without forgetting that the incompatibility of voltage and old technology will not allow our smartphone to fill its cells at the appropriate speed or recommended by the manufacturer.
- Always avoid unauthorized chargers.
Fortunately, for some countries, the majority of chargers sold should undergo comprehensive control of resistance, voltage and protection for mobile phones, although if we venture to buy chargers from unknown Chinese brands, we will put ourselves at risk. These chargers that have not been pushed to the maximum can be the ones that cause serious problems.
- Don't forget to check out the charging cables.
The cable is another crucial point when it comes to transferring power to your smartphones. So, if you are going to invest your money in an original charger or a good quality charger, do not forget to make sure that it comes with a cable that supports the voltage.
When a cable starts to change color, fray, or simply has a very sharp bend, it could end badly, starting with a short circuit in the phone and ending with something worse.
