How to create WhatsApp stickers using this new icon added by the application
In this guide, I tell you the steps you need to follow to create stickers on WhatsApp without installing any application. Everything I will show you works directly in the official WhatsApp applications, whether on your computer or on your mobile phone. Thanks to this trick, you will no longer have to download any of the best sticker packs (although you can do that if you want, of course), but you will be able to have your own creations, based on your photos. On the other hand, the best thing about these methods is that regardless of the device on which you follow the steps I show you below, the stickers will be synced with your account and will be saved in your WhatsApp backup.
Without having to install any external application, the latest versions of WhatsApp allow you to create custom stickers directly from the sticker selector. This can be done directly from your Android or iPhone. Although we will base this guide on the app for the first operating system, if you are using iOS it will be very easy for you to follow the tutorials, since the procedure is very similar.
The first thing you should do is open WhatsApp and open a chat. My recommendation is that if you are going to do multiple tests, send a message to yourself. This way you won’t disturb anyone while creating stickers. Once you find an open chat, do the following:
- Click on the smiley face icon inside the text drawer.
- Then click on the icon located at the top of the selection tool, on the far right, in the form of a sticker.
- Below you will see a Create button. Click on it to continue.
- After that, WhatsApp will show you your phone gallery, where you will be able to see all the photos on your mobile phone.
- Select the image you want to create a sticker with.
- In the editor, choose whether you want to see the entire image or if you prefer to crop it to show the main subject.
- On top, add more stickers, text or any hand drawings.
- Finally, send the sticker.
