Best AI Photo Editing App Challenges Google With 'Magic Eraser' To Remove Anything In Photo
Yesterday, Adobe announced a good series of new features for several of its programs, with a focus on Firefly AI, its AI model for generating images and videos. Among them, video creation from text and a major update that Adobe Lightroom is receiving in both mobile and web versions stood out.
Quick Actions is a great novelty in Lightroom that uses artificial intelligence to give the user the perfect settings to enhance their photos and always gives the option to choose one or the other. That is, it suggests contextual adjustments to automatically show tools that will improve the image.
These actions, depending on what the AI analyzes of the image, will recommend changes to the color of teeth, eyes, or skin, or the ability to improve the color or contrast of the clothes the subject is wearing. And it’s not just for portraits or selfies, it also makes changes to landscapes like the sky. It also includes a button that makes adjustments automatically.
Another big new feature in the app is the arrival of the Generative Deletion feature, which is similar to the Magic Eraser we explained earlier in Google Photos . It allows you to remove objects from complex backgrounds using generative AI, or automatically remove small spots or dust patches when objects are detected. An example in the image below is to delete part of a tree that appears in the image.
This update announced by Adobe is now available in the app on both Android and iOS in an early trial. With this new feature, it becomes one of the most complete apps you can get on your Android and iPhone mobile phone.
