An important program to exploit the F1, F2, F3, and other buttons and make them perform specific functions on your computer
How many times have you wanted to access some functions on your computer faster, and you only found a suggested solution to make the function linked to one of the keyboard buttons, and because of the difficulty of remembering, the F1, F2, F3... and other buttons will be useful to you, and in this post we will talk about a program that helps you exploit them.
You will download the FN Lock program from the link below the post, which is completely free, and helps you determine the functions of those buttons on the computer. This program has an easy interface, and you can set it up and assign functions to each keyboard key quickly.
You can get the program in a portable version, meaning you don't need to install it in order to use it. What you will do is go in and start choosing the functions of the FN buttons from number 1 to number 12, and you will have options such as raising the volume, taking a screenshot, and many more, and even the ability to open a custom program.
If you choose “Custom App” you will need to click on the folder icon next to the box, and you will go to the path where any program you want to run is located when you click on this button and you will select it to save the function.
When you are done with all the modifications, you will click on the Apply button to save the functions of all the buttons, and you will close the program, and you will find that it appears as a miniature icon in the taskbar, which means that it is running.
Now, to activate the new shortcuts press Ctrl + Alt + L and then you can try the buttons, and if it doesn't work and you are using a laptop make sure to press the FN key as well.
