A new and free program that removes everything that bothers you from Windows 11

With the arrival of Windows 11 update, many features or options have become somewhat useless and even annoying to us. That is why LoveWindowsAgain comes to solve all these problems for us.

While Windows 11 has many great features ranging from a redesigned Start menu, a better gaming experience, or a new taskbar, it's also true that there are some that are completely useless and we wish would go away.

LoveWindowsAain comes to our rescue. Here’s a new open-source app that can help you disable auto-installing apps, bring back Windows 10’s File Explorer, or even hide the UI elements it includes.

Before downloading it. Microsoft Defender can block the program once it is downloaded. The program modifies system settings, which is why your antivirus marks it as blocked, so disable it.

Once installed, its use is very simple: it has a button that analyzes the system and shows the default options to the user in case he wants to make any changes and solve them automatically or manually. The scan is fast and by selecting Menu> Advanced mode, it will show us all the changes that the program proposes to fix.

It is possible to make all the modifications at once, although we recommend going one by one, as it is not a good idea to allow a program to make changes to the system that you are not aware of.

For some of the “issues” it detects, we found that Chrome and Firefox telemetry suggests you turn on showing hidden file name extensions in File Explorer or, for example, advises you to turn off the UI elements feature in Windows 11.

In addition, the program shows you the changing features by categories (browsers, system, explorer, games, privacy...) in order to easily access what you want to modify.

Once you've disabled what you're not convinced about, it's as simple as restarting File Explorer to save the changes. As we've already told you, there's a Restore button that will let you go back to how Windows 11 was before.
