YouTube is coming up with a new way to display ads and you won't like it

YouTube has been full of ads lately, when you start a video several times and while you're watching, and now it seems we'll see ads even when we have to pause playback.

Paying YouTube  users don't have  this problem, as they don't see ads, but the subscription is usually more expensive than other similar services.

Now various social media users are warning that if you watch YouTube on TV, you will see more ads than ever when you pause a video.

This is the format called “paused ads” that YouTube started testing in May of last year, and it certainly looks like it will be rolling out to all users in the coming weeks.

As you can see from the images provided by the users themselves, we see that the video shrinks to a smaller window on the left, while the ad also appears minimized on the right.

The ad area is labeled as “Sponsored,” showing the brand name and logo, followed by the ad.

If you're interested in the ad, you can press the "i" button for more information, or bother having to pick up your TV remote to press the "ignore" button.

Fortunately, the ad disappears once you resume the video, and it is unknown whether the ad will appear every time you pause the video or not.

In this way, long gone are the times when you could quietly watch videos on YouTube without a lot of ads, and today a premium subscription has become a must, although its price is not within the reach of all budgets.
