You will always need this new app launched by the famous Uptodown app store.
Uptodown has created a new app called APK Installer, which is a simple app that does what it promises and is completely free.
This app incorporates some of the popular app store’s techniques to install APKs in a very user-friendly way.
Among the many alternative app stores, Uptodown usually updates applications quickly, with a large catalog and the possibility of downloading files from the website itself, either from your computer or from your mobile phone. The company has gone one step further and created an app installer that has become the best for me personally after trying it.
The new APK Installer is easy to use and has a blue background and includes three buttons:
Install Apps : A list with all the APK files on our mobile will appear.
Manage Apps : To see our applications and create backup copies in the form of APK packages in case you also want to share them with your friends.
Browse Files : File explorer.
Just click on an application, a menu will appear to install it, as well as a notification to let you know that the installation has been completed successfully.
On the other hand, Uptodown is compatible with APK, XAPK, OBB and Split APK format files. It works not only with files you download from Uptodown, but also from other sources, such as APKMirror or even personal APK files (for example, I tried an app I was developing that was not published on any site).
These features were already available in the Uptodown app store, a store that we recommend as a great alternative to Google Play if you don't know it. And its new app for installing APK files is also a must-have.
