Xiaomi announces its new phone Redmi 14R 5G
Xiaomi has announced the launch of its new Redmi 14R 5G smartphone, which is a new budget option in the Redmi series.
The new phone is very similar to the Redmi A3, but it has improved specifications thanks to the advanced processor.
The Redmi 14R 5G is powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, with RAM options ranging from 4GB to 8GB. Additionally, the phone packs a 5,160mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The phone has a 6.88-inch screen with a display resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 600 nits.
The phone is relatively large in size, and its weight ranges between 205 grams and 212 grams, depending on the type of materials used on the back, whether it is artificial leather, metal or glass. The phone is available in several colors, including green, purple, blue and black.
The Redmi 14R 5G phone includes a 5-megapixel front camera, a 13-megapixel primary rear camera, in addition to a secondary rear camera whose specifications have not been disclosed yet.
As expected, the phone runs HyperOS 1.0, which is the operating system that the latest versions of Xiaomi phones are based on, and it is primarily based on the Android system, and the phone also supports connection to 5G networks.
Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone at a price starting from $150, and reaching $270 for the highest version.
