Vivo officially launches the VIVO V40e phone with an amazing design
The VIVO V40e has been officially launched and it is a phone that expands the range that has been making the Asian company successful, and to highlight that, it must be said that it has a stylish design and features that are not bad at all. This device aims to compete in the mid-range/high-end market and we will tell you what you should know about it.
The phone features a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it supports HDR10 technology, ensuring realistic colors and a high-quality visual experience. The panel also reaches a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, so you won't have any problems with direct light (a fingerprint reader is integrated into this element).
On the other hand, the VIVO V40e comes in two color options: Mint Green and Royal Bronze, which offer a touch of elegance. The back attracts attention as it offers a minimalist design, with a dual camera module arranged in an oval-shaped island.
Inside, the Vivo phone packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, a powerful SoC that ensures smooth performance, even with demanding games or apps. This processor is backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage options – the storage is not expandable. Additionally, it has an advanced heat dissipation system that keeps the device at an optimal temperature during long usage sessions.
The VIVO V40e comes with a 5500mAh battery, enough for extended use throughout the day. Additionally, it includes an amazing 80W fast charging capability, allowing you to charge the device in a very short time, ensuring that it is always ready when you need it.

VIVO V40e launches with FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14. VIVO is committed to providing three years of Android version updates and four years of security patches, ensuring the device stays up-to-date and secure for a long time.
The device stands out in this section thanks to its dual camera system. On the back, the phone has a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), which ensures clear and detailed images. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, which is ideal for capturing landscapes and wide shots. The device's Aura Light technology allows you to adjust the color temperature of photos in low-light conditions, resulting in more balanced and natural images.
On the front, the device is equipped with a 50MP camera with Eye Auto Focus, making it ideal for taking high-resolution selfies and making clear video calls. Additional features when taking photos include OIS EIS support, AI Eraser that allows you to remove unwanted objects, and AI Portrait Enhancer that improves the quality of selfies.
The VIVO V40e is now available for pre-order from the manufacturer’s online store and partner retailers. The announced prices are Rs 28,999 (around $310) for the 8GB 128GB variant; the price goes up to Rs 30,999 ($332) for the 256GB variant. Open sales will begin on October 2.
