Three apps that add volume buttons to the screen so you don't have to press the volume up and down button on your phone
The volume buttons may work properly, but they require a two-finger grip and pressure. Also, on larger phones they can be out of reach. If for some reason you don’t want to use the physical buttons to control the volume, you can opt to use the on-screen control. Logically, you can go to System Settings, Sound, and Notifications to adjust the volume via the system, but the most practical thing is to have this control on top of other apps to use when needed.
Below we present you 3 applications that will help you with the volume buttons on the screen.
- Assist volume button
You can add an on-screen shortcut for volume using this app, through which you can control the volume from any app you are in.
Among the options it offers, you can place these buttons anywhere on the screen, as well as modify their appearance so that they are discreet and do not bother you.
And through the same volume shortcut, you can expand the system volume control, to adjust the volume of ringer, notifications, alarm, etc...
- Volume control
If having volume buttons constantly on your screen annoys you, you might want something less intrusive and more discreet. This app is simply an app that lets you add volume controls to your home screen only or as shortcuts to your notification bar. That way they won’t bother you while you’re browsing through other apps.
- Volume always visible
Finally, this is a combination of both of the first two apps. You get a simple volume control in the status bar, an always-on button, or both at the same time, and you can choose that from its settings. This is one of the simplest apps I've found for this task, with a very intuitive interface and configuration.
