The most important new updates in the iPhone 16 Pro camera
Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 lineup yesterday at its It's Glowtime event, and the lineup comes complete with new processors, new colors, and a host of Apple Intelligence features . Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro gets a variety of camera upgrades that will greatly enhance the photography experience.
Here are the most important updates that the iPhone 16 Pro camera received:
1- Fast sensor for the main camera:
The iPhone 16 Pro's main camera retains the same 48MP resolution as previous models, but Apple promises faster sensor response, reducing the delay between pressing the shutter and taking the picture. This helps to get sharper photos when taking photos of fast-moving objects.
2- Ultra-wide high-resolution camera:
The ultra-wide camera has received a major upgrade, now 48MP instead of 12MP, which brings a lot of detail to your wide-angle landscapes.
This camera has a more advanced quad-pixel sensor than previous sensors to capture ultra-high-resolution images in ProRAW and HEIF formats with autofocus support.
3- New physical button to control the camera:
All iPhone 16 series phones have a new physical camera button that helps control the camera. This button is located on the side of the phone, and when you press it once, the camera is activated and you can press again to take a photo or press and hold to record a video.
You can also tap it slightly to change the focus while shooting, and you can swipe over it to zoom in or out.
4- Enhance the quality of videos:
The iPhone 16 Pro camera supports 4K video recording at 120 frames per second. Previous models are capable of recording videos at 120 frames per second at 1080p.
