The easy and quick way to forcefully delete any app that does not allow it on your phone
The truth is that mobile phones always come with a lot of pre-installed applications: some are useful and necessary, such as those from Google (Gmail, Play Store, YouTube, etc.), while others can be a hindrance. This is known as Bloatware, and sometimes these applications cannot be uninstalled.
Or at least, it’s not as simple and straightforward as deleting an app we’ve voluntarily downloaded from the Google Play Store or any other repository. Fortunately, Android is a very versatile and noble operating system, so there are ways to delete those apps that we’re not supposed to be able to delete.
If a pre-installed application is getting in the way, but we don't need to delete it, or at least we prefer not to, Android offers us another option: we can disable its operation. The application will continue to be installed on our mobile phones, however, it will not be running, not even in the background, so it should not get in the way.
This might be the quickest and most practical solution for many users. After all, it is usually recommended not to delete some important apps from the system, such as Google tools. In addition, many times, these pre-installed apps do not take up much storage space, so not deleting them from the phone will not make much difference in the space available for photos, videos, games, and other apps.
- How to remove pre-installed app without root
To uninstall an application without root, there are several options, from the simplest to the most complex. Starting from the basic option, we can uninstall the application from the mobile like any other: we go to the settings menu, access the applications section, select the application we are going to delete and, finally, click on uninstall.
However, manufacturers sometimes do not allow you to easily remove pre-installed applications on devices. Therefore, we will have to resort to other measures. The simplest of them is to use Universal Android Debloater . In this case, we will need a mobile phone and a computer running Windows, Linux or Mac.
This is a tool that we should use with caution, avoiding uninstalling or deleting something inappropriate. Fortunately, it is very easy to use. We follow these steps:
- We download Universal Android Debloater and install it on our computer
- We activate the developer options on the mobile phone and in the developer options menu we activate the USB debugging option.
- We connect the mobile phone to the computer and confirm USB debugging on the computer (if necessary)
- Open Universal Android Debloater
- We choose the application (or applications) that we will delete and click on Uninstall.
After completing the process, we close the application on the computer and we can restart the mobile phone if necessary.
