Tecno has officially unveiled its new smartphone, the Spark 30, whose specifications were previously leaked, and the smartphone continues the current trend of large displays.

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 800 nits, and support for wet and oil touch.

The screen also has a central hole for the front camera, which comes with a resolution of 13 megapixels with a dual front flash for color temperature, although there is no fingerprint scanner under the screen because it is integrated into the power button.

On the back, the phone has a circular camera with a primary lens that uses a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 sensor and an additional sensor for depth effects, with a quad rear flash to improve the quality of shots in low light.

Tecno has equipped the device with the MediaTek Helio G91 octa-core processor with 8GB of RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot.

The phone runs on the HiOS user interface based on Android 14, although it is not clear how many years of software updates it will receive.

The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging, and other notable features of the Spark 30 include an IP64 rating, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, a USB-C port, NFC, and IR remote control.

Tecno has listed its new Spark 30 phone on its website without officially revealing pricing and availability details yet.

It is noteworthy that Tecno launched the new foldable phones, the Phantom V Fold 2  and  the Phantom V Flip 2, earlier this month . Both phones come with the manufacturer's AI Suite.

Tecno is launching the Phantom V Flip 2 at $700, while the Phantom V Fold 2 is launching at $1,100, which is much lower than competitors.
