Simple Tricks to Get More Internet Coverage on Your Mobile Phone
A mobile phone is one of the most important devices, with which you can do practically everything: from communicating with friends and family through calls and messages, to browsing the Internet, using social networks, working remotely, watching videos, listening to music and more.
However, all these features cannot be used to their fullest without a good connection. When you are at home or in the office, a Wi-Fi connection usually keeps your mobile phone running at full capacity. But if you are outside a Wi-Fi area, none of the above will work.
Having a cell phone with no signal can be one of the most desperate situations you can have, especially if you’re in a remote area, in the middle of a hike in the mountains, or in an area with no signal. Fortunately, there are a few tricks to help you regain coverage and stay connected.
- Tricks to improve your cell phone coverage
The first, and perhaps most effective, trick is to turn Airplane Mode on and off. By doing this, you force your mobile phone to reboot its network connection and search for available signals again. This can be especially useful if your smartphone is “stuck” on a weak or unstable connection.
This method works because by activating the function, it completely disconnects the phone's wireless signals, including phone networks, so this may be enough. But if it does not solve the problem, there are other alternatives.
If the above trick doesn't work, try moving to another location, as sometimes a few meters can make a difference in the connection strength. You can also remove your phone case, especially if it's metal, as some materials can interfere with the signal.
Finally, make sure your phone has enough battery life, as Power Saving Mode may be active, which may disable certain 4G mobile data features to extend battery life.
Poor or non-existent cell phone coverage can be frustrating, but with these simple tricks, you can improve coverage and stay connected, even in the farthest parts of town.
