Samsung promotes Galaxy AI features with cartoon ads

Samsung recently launched an ad campaign for its new Galaxy AI features that includes animated trailers.

The Korean company resorted to using symbolic language and a simple cartoon style similar to children's programs, instead of highlighting the practical advantages and technical details of the artificial intelligence technologies it is developing.

The promotional videos focused on fancy images and animated icons that acted as their core apps, without providing a clear explanation of how the new features work.

Samsung has been running a lot of promotional campaigns for its AI features since announcing them earlier this year, and these new ads could be a way for it to reach a younger age group or explain AI concepts in a simpler way than usual.

Samsung is launching the campaign under the name “All About Switching,” and it is releasing the promotional clips in successive episodes. The company seems to be specifically targeting customers who want to try out its devices, as the description refers to the Try Galaxy app , which allows you to try out Samsung’s new interface on its devices.

Samsung offers many important features through Galaxy AI, such as live translation of calls, summarizing texts and audio recordings, improving image quality, facilitating image editing, improving search with the search circle feature in cooperation with Google, and other features.

This campaign comes in conjunction with Apple's announcement of its artificial intelligence features known as Apple Intelligence, which it is preparing to launch next October.
