Samsung Announces Arrival of Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360: The Company's First AI-Powered Laptop

Back in February, Samsung introduced its new generation of premium laptops, the Galaxy Book4 , and among the four models that hit the market, the most notable was the Galaxy Book4 Pro 360, a laptop that features a 16-inch touchscreen and an Intel Core Ultra processor.

Well, since it has not even been 8 months since the announcement of the Galaxy Book4 Pro 360, Samsung is already finalizing the launch details of its successor and a good proof of that is that a recent leak allowed us to see the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 in great detail.

Specialized media Windows Report recently published a report in which it shares the first images of the new 2-in-1 laptop from the South Korean manufacturer, Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360.

As you can see in the pictures, the new computer will be based on a design almost identical to that of its predecessor. Thus, this new model has a flat lid that can be placed in the shape of a wedge when closed, with a large touch screen, with a backlit keyboard that integrates a small numeric keypad on the right side, with a large trackpad and a fingerprint reader.

Similarly, the report also reveals the key specifications, which is a convertible laptop that will be equipped with a 16-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with WQXGA resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, this new 2-in-1 PC has a 360-degree hinge that allows it to be converted into a tablet and used with the S-Pen stylus included in the sales package.

Under the hood, we'll find an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, which will be accompanied by Intel Ark graphics, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 512GB NVME SSD.

In terms of autonomy and charging, the device will have a 76 Wh battery, which is compatible with 65W USB PD charging through one of the USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4.

In this sense, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 does not suffer from a lack of connectivity either, since in addition to the two Thunderbolt 4 ports, it will also have an HDMI 2.1 port, a USB-A 3.2 port, a microSD card reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As for the rest of the features, it is worth noting that it will have broadband wireless connectivity thanks to Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 and that it will arrive with Windows 11 with a Copilot Plus key on the keyboard to call Microsoft's chatbot.

The computer will offer significant developments in everything related to artificial intelligence, as this includes features such as Link to Windows, which allows the transfer of artificial intelligence functions developed by the brand, such as Circle to Search, Chat Assist, and Live Translate, to a larger screen.
