OpenAI Increases Maximum Usage Limits for New O1 Model
In response to increasing demand, OpenAI has announced increased usage limits for the new o1 model.
The company recently launched its new model, O1, which has advanced reasoning and reasoning capabilities, and the model has been well received so far.
Subscribers to paid plans like ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Team who have had the model available since its launch can now try out up to 50 messages per day with the o1-mini, while the larger o1-preview model is now capped at 50 messages per week.
This new model will be one of the basic models of the ChatGPT application, along with the GPT-4o model, and a mini version of it is expected to be released for free plan owners soon with few usage limits.
OpenAI said in a post on its official account on the X platform: “We appreciate your enthusiasm for the o1 model, and we want to enable you to use it more.”
The company launched the OpenAI o1 model last week, and it is now available for use in its beta version.
This model is slower and more expensive than GPT-4o, but it has advanced capabilities in writing codes and solving multi-step problems. It is designed to answer complex questions, and a miniaturized version is available for faster response times.
Upon launch, OpenAI promised to increase the weekly usage limits for the o1-preview and o1-mini models, and enable ChatGPT to automatically choose the most appropriate model for each query.
On the other hand, Microsoft announced that it will update its smart assistant Copilot using the latest artificial intelligence models from OpenAI, including the new o1 models.
